Reiki Element Two 

Kokyu Ho (Japanese Breathing Techniques)

There are a number of Reiki breathing techniques which assist in bringing balance to your being and the building of Ki in your Hara.

Kenyoku Ho (Dry Bathing Method)

This is an energetic cleansing method that can be used as part of the  preparation for your practice or at the completion of Tenohira on others.
 

Joshin Kokyu-Ho   (Method of Focusing the Mind on the Hara)

This is a method of focussing the mind on the Hara and building an energy bubble

or a mist emanating from the body.

Seishin Toitsu  

(Method of Unifying Self spirit, mind, soul, intention )

In this breathing method our intention is to breath in through the hands to the Hara

and from the Hara out through the hands.

Hatsurei Rei Ho 

This is basically a combination of the above individual techniques.

This technique is central to all Reiki Practice.

There are many traditions that focus on the benefits of a variety of breathing techniques for

the development of the mind and the body,

These include Yoga and Qi Gong (Chee Kung).

The dedicated Reiki practitioner would benefit from research in these areas.
