| The ability to Practise Reiki is Supportedby a Reiki Master/Teacher.
Shoden First Teaching 2 Day Course Beginner Level 1 At this level students are made aware of the flow of Ki and their interconnectedness with the universe. They are introduced to the history of the system of Reiki and its founder Usui Mikao. The system of Reiki is explained and the students are taught a number of techniques/methods to enhance their ability to utilise Ki to bring balance to their own lives. The importance of the practice of Gokai is highlighted and taught. Various Japanese breathing techniques, Kokyû Hô, are introduced to enhance their practice. The method of self healing through palm-healing, Tenohira , is taught and practised as is the use of Tenohira for full body treatment of others. Students receive four attunements to support their journey. Students are encouraged to follow the course with a practice regime that spans 21 days to help establish their own ongoing routine. They are also encouraged to keep a Reiki journal to capture their thoughts and experiences as they make this journey. A Reiki Connection session is offered at the end of this period for students to receive Reiju, to seek support and to share their journey. Okuden Inner Teachings 2 Day Course Practitioner Level Okuden training again focuses on Gokai, Kokyu Hô, and Tenohira. It introduces the student to Shirushi, or symbols and their associated Jumon, or mantras. These enable the student to focus Ki. Students are encouraged to further develop their own personal practice. A follow up evening and ongoing support is offered to our Okuden students. A number of Japanese Reiki techniques are added to the students knowledge base. At this level students receive three attunements. Students are also shown how to connect to others ‘remotely ‘for healing. Following this workshop students may decide to practice Reiki professionally. Various considerations are discussed including ethics, procedures for receiving and interacting with clients, obligations, insurance etc. Shinpiden Mystery Teachings 2.5 Day Course Master/Teacher Level
Shinpiden is commonly referred to as the ‘Master’ level, but is more properly the ‘Teacher’ level. The practitioner is introduced to a fourth Symbol and its associated Jumon. A Shinpiden attunement is received. Great emphasis is placed on personal practice and the associated way of life that accompanies it. This is the level at which the practitioner will learn how to pass on the system of Reiki to others. Not everyone will want to take on a teaching role but many will want to gain the knowledge and spiritual practice techniques that Shinpiden offers.
